Provided Mazama Pocket Gopher training for the Mason County Planning Staff. KES demonstrated the differences between moles and Mazama Pocket Gophers. A field visit to a typical prairie habitat area that was known to have Mazama Pocket Gophers and atypical non-prairie habitat area that also had the presence of Mazama Pocket Gopher was shown to the group.
